Cristina Paolini - La danza della pioggia

Walking in the open countryside, I watch in the distance the passage of a summer thunderstorm. Sunset is near; rain falls intermittently on the horizon, creating a continuous dialogue between light and shadow and a movement that is almost a dance: the dance of the rain.

The painting is sold with a frame made of black-painted slats nailed to the canvas, and it is signed on the front and on the back.

I was born and raised in a family deeply immersed in art, and I developed a strong bond with painting from a young age.
I prefer oil painting, through which I explore evocative and suspended atmospheres: foggy landscapes, stormy skies, rain-soaked lands, and my great love, the sea. The aim is to evoke a deep emotion, a sense of inner calm, inviting the viewer into a space suspended between reality and imagination.
I live and work in Grosseto, in the Tuscan Maremma, a land rich in visual impressions that serves as a constant point of reference and an inexhaustible source of inspiration for my paintings.
