Antique Russian Orthodox icon.
Image of Saint Nicholas of Myra (Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker), presumably 19th century. The panel shows the saint with a blessing hand and the Evangelion with small medallions of Christ and Mary.

Probably restored and with minor wear to the front and at the edge from earlier transport.

The shponki (crossbars) on the back are missing.
