A monumental mid-19th century round silver gilt dish in .925 sterling, London assay, 64.5 cm in diameter and 6.5 cm high, weighing 4810 g, with a hand-embossed Moses and Aaron scene and three musicians, hallmarked 1867 with the AM maker mark of Alexander Macrae from the United Kingdom.

Museum quality monumental size and heavy weight mid 19th century sterling 925 silver gilt round Masterpiece dish.
The center is hand embossed with a detailed scene depicting Moses stretching out his Staff towards Egypt pyramids to initiate the plagues, with Aaron by his side
In front of them, three female musicians - playing lyre, tambourine and flute - are following a youngster carrying laurel branches dressed with a lion's skin
The broad border finely hand raised with exotic fruits and flowers alternated with grotesque masks ornaments
Fully hallmarked London Assay Office guarantee for 925 silver and "m" date letter for 1867 together with Alexander Macrae silversmith's mark "AM" (wine bottle not included)
