Elegant, hand-painted trophy vase from the French manufactory Chaumette, dated 1925.

The vase shows on a black background a classical decor with putto (amor figure), floral garlands and gold-toned embellishment. The painting is hand-signed by a decorative painter, in addition to the blue underglaze stamp of the manufactory.

This piece represents French art pottery of the early 1920s, stylistically between late Art Nouveau and early Art Deco, with deliberately historicizing motifs.

Dimensions:
Height: approx. 31 cm, Diameter: approx. 29 cm, Weight: approx. 3 kg

Condition: signs of wear consistent with age, as visible in the photos
No visible restorations and no through cracks
