In "Veils", the vegetal form fragments into translucent planes that suggest layers of perception. The leaves overlap as if they were fabrics of light, hinting at what is shown and what remains hidden. The dialogue between chromatic transparencies and denser surfaces creates a sense of visual intimacy, as if the work were revealing a slow process of discovery. The composition proposes that all identity, all emotion, and all inner landscape are built in layers: veils that do not hide, but protect and transform the gaze.
This work belongs to the series 'Natural Architectures' that explores the geometric and emotional abstraction of the plant world from a perspective influenced by the Art Deco aesthetic.
