Two miniature works inspired by ancient Pompeian frescoes, dated 1982 and 1984.

The compositions depict classical figures in theatrical and ritual scenes, rendered against a deep black background, directly referencing Roman wall paintings from Pompeii. The artist combines fine linear drawing with subtle painterly accents, evoking archaeological fragments and ancient stage tableaux.

Executed in mixed media (ink and watercolor/tempera on paper), both works are signed and dated by the artist. Presented in original gilt wooden frames with red accents and archival mounts.
