About the Artist:
Anoop Kamath is an established Indian contemporary artist, born in India, with a formal academic training in fine arts and a professional practice spanning more than two decades. Active since the late 1990s, he was among the early Indian artists to engage seriously with digital art alongside painting and photography, a cross-disciplinary approach that has remained central to his work.
Kamath has presented solo and participated in numerous curated group exhibitions across major institutional and commercial platforms in India and internationally, including Gallery Nvya, Gallery Ragini, Lalit Kala Akademi, Nitanjali Art Gallery, Crimson Art Resource, Arushi Art Gallery, Alliance Française, and The Stainless Gallery, with exhibitions in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kochi, Hong Kong, and beyond. His CV includes participation in national and international exchange exhibitions, benefit and museum-linked shows, and landmark group exhibitions that situate his practice within broader contemporary and socio-cultural conversations.
