Description from the seller
The Work
- Planes (2026). Mixed media on canvas mounted to board. 80x80x4 cm.
-In Planes, the composition is built from the superposition and crossing of geometric surfaces that converse with each other with tension and balance. There is no obvious center: space fractures into layers that seem to move, as if each plane claimed its own time and depth.
The work plays with perception. Boundaries are not always definitive; some edges dissolve while others assert themselves with decisiveness. This alternation generates rhythm and forces the eye to travel across the canvas without rest, exploring relationships between form, color, and emptiness.
The square format of 80 x 80 cm enhances structural stability, becoming a contained field where geometry is ordered, but never quite completely. Plans do not represent a physical place, but a mental territory: an interior architecture built on tension, balance, and layers of thought.
- Hand-signed by the artist on the back.
- One-off edition.
- Piece from a new collection.
