The diamond fairy book comprising stories by Isabel Bellerby, Z. Topelius, Mrs. Egerton Eastwick, Clemens Brentano, Xavier Marmier, J. Jarry, W. Hauff, Richard Leander, K.E. Sutter, Saint-Juirs, A. Godin, and Pauline Schanz.
Illustrated with 8 coloured plates by Frank Papé (1878-1972), and 83 drawings by H. R. Millar (1869-1940). Published by Hutchinson & Co., London, c1897. Publishers’ original red cloth boards, with mounted colour illustration on upper cover, and gilt titles to spine. Gilt to all fore-edges.

The book is beautifully bound, designed and illustrated. Firm and well-bound copy. External covers in nice shape, and with light wear to corners and to head and foot of spine.
