Obsidian Breath is a large-format contemporary abstract work, entirely realized and handcrafted by the artist Maria Ruisi.
This unique piece explores matter as a living language, between mineral density and luminous breath.
The deep relief, built layer by layer, creates a vibrant surface where light glides, clings, and transforms according to the viewing angle. The sculpted textures reveal a silent, almost telluric energy, evoking the encounter of fire and earth, of shadow and awakening.
