Description from the seller
The poster depicts Viktor Glukhov, a Soviet circus artist, and is a poster for the Circo Sovietico produced in the USSR during the 1960s-1970s.
The graphic style, with fluid shapes and psychedelic lettering, is typical of late-Soviet Moscow graphic avant-garde, influenced both by Russian constructivism and Western psychedelic art of the sixties.
Many of these posters were created by illustrators active for the publishing house 'Soyuzgoscirk' (Union of State Circus) and printed to promote individual artists or shows.
Note well: This is a later edition probably from the 1970s.
Note well: customs costs are already included in shipping expenses outside the EU.
