Description from the seller
Set of three Delheid freres napkin rings in solid silver (.800), Belgium — mid-20th century
Elegant set of three solid silver napkin rings by the Belgian silversmith Delheid, crafted in 800/1000 silver. Each ring features a richly modelled rocaille-style cartouche framed by scrolling foliage and shell motifs, with two of the rings decorated with a dynamic fluted spiral pattern around the body. The cartouches are blank, allowing for optional engraving.
The pieces show clear silver hallmarks, including the 800 fineness mark and maker’s mark. The workmanship and ornamentation are consistent with Delheid’s refined tableware production of the mid-20th century.
Condition is good antique/vintage condition with visible surface wear and fine scratches consistent with age and use. No major dents or structural damage observed. Light patina remains in recesses, enhancing the relief decoration.
