Duck decoy - Antieke lokeend - Wood

Very beautiful and characterful hand-carved wooden duck decoy, depicting a wild duck (drake), dating from the early 20th century.
The duck is richly painted with a dark green head, brown chest and detailed wing sections in green, cream, black and yellow accents. The paint is visibly aged with authentic wear and patina, giving the piece a beautifully lived-in look. This indicates actual use during hunting.
