Impressive two-color title in red and black with a large copper engraving (The Last Supper), a typical Tridentine Missal with the entire Latin text, rubrics in red and numerous initials. The monumental original binding: brown leather binding over solid wooden boards with rich back- and cover-gilding, large central medallion “Ave Maria,” decorative blind embossing, and sturdy brass fittings at all corners – a classical altar Missal with strong sacred aura.
Condition: The book is in good condition. The brass fittings are particularly decorative. It contains 8 full-page copper engravings. Some pages are loose.
