Description from the seller
Title: "White horse"
Year: 2026
Technique: Acrylic and spatulated quartz plaster
Support: canvas mounted on a wooden frame
Dimensions: 100 x 70 x 4 cm
Unique artwork, non-reproducible and signed on the back by the artist.
The painting will be packed with bubble wrap and shipped in a protective carton, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Description of the work.
Drawn to ancient books of zoology, biology and entomology, I create on canvas a personal natural history book, featuring animals and insects together with the shapes of leaves from my homeland, which leave their imprint on the canvas and in the observer’s mind.
This work is handmade using the relief technique, applying a fine-grain quartz mortar with a spatula onto cotton or jute canvas. The surface, characterized by a granular and durable texture, creates natural light effects that highlight the molded forms, giving the work a strong sense of three-dimensionality.
