Description from the seller
Frédérique Longrée was born in 1971, somewhere in Belgium, and she still finds it surprising.
As a trained musicologist, she discovered during her years in Geneva a way to reconcile her love for music, poetry, and a questioning of the inalienable relationship between Life and Death.
His work includes, among other things, chimeras, altered young faces, Vanities, all within a surrealist vein.
Show that beauty is subjective; that it is fragile, above all.
Their photomontages are created without any recourse to AI and printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Metallic paper, Giclée photo printing, with 12-color inks.
Frédérique Longrée has exhibited in Germany, Belgium, France, Italy, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.
She won the 1st Prize at the 'Opus Continuum' Competition in Naples in 2021.
She collaborates with publishing houses: Asmodée/Edern, L'Age d'Homme, Cactus Inébranlable, Editions du Cygne, Maelström Editions, for which she custom illustrates book covers or poetry collections.
