AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Carlo Corsi, born in Nice in 1879, showed a great inclination toward art from an early age. At just two years old he moved to Bologna, the city that would make him fall in love with art and that would shape him as a painter.
He took part in the exhibitions of the Venice Biennale in 1912, as well as exhibitions in Munich and San Francisco, and in the four editions of the Roman Secession. During the First World War he was forced to stop. Despite his highly personal independence and intellectual vitality, Corsi suffered an eclipse of fame and fortune because of his loyalty to Secessionism.
Nevertheless, Corsi never stopped and continued to work.
Carlo Corsi died in August 1966 and is buried in the Certosa of Bologna.
