Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
A lot of four sealed 75 cl bottles of Blackmore Finest Scotch Whisky, a 12-year-old blended Scotch distilled in Scotland and bottled under British Government supervision, exported to Italy and imported by Montanara Import, with original UTIF seals and original presentation boxes.
Description from the seller
An exceptionally rare original lot consisting of four sealed bottles of Blackmore Finest Scotch Whisky, distilled and blended in Scotland and bottled under British Government supervision, as stated on the label. The whisky was subsequently exported to Italy and imported by Montanara Import of Belluno. Each bottle bears original UTIF tax seals on the capsules, further confirming its authenticity and official import status.
This high-quality 12-year-old blend is composed exclusively of Scotch malt whiskies matured in oak hogsheads, which impart its distinctive character and flavour profile. The label also specifies an alcohol content of 70° proof (equivalent to 40% ABV) and a volume of 16 2/3 fluid ounces per bottle, equal to 750ml.
The lot, originating from a private collection and most likely dating back to the 1980s, is in excellent and fully original condition. Notably, all four bottles are preserved in their original presentation boxes, an especially rare and desirable feature for collectors. This set represents a rare example of blended Scotch whisky from the golden age of British export, bottled under a now-defunct private label: the Alex A. Blending Company of London.
Ideal for display, collection, or investment, this whisky offers an authentic and tangible link to the history of Scotch whisky’s international trade.
The cases will be folded for practical reasons during delivery.
Happy bidding to everyone!
