Spectacular decorative frame with great presence, made in gilded bronze, richly worked in Rocaille / Louis XV style.

The piece stands out for its profuse relief ornamentation, with very detailed execution:

• Asymmetric scrolls and volutes characteristic of Rococo
• Lush botanical and floral motifs
• Winged cherubs in high relief at the top and on the sides
• Support with ornate curved legs

The casting work is fine and meticulous, especially visible in the faces of the cherubs and in the decorative folds. This is not a light or industrial piece, but a frame with strong sculptural presence.
