Gamiani or Two Nights of Excess is a novel by Alfred de Musset first published in 1833. This novel is the most licentious and most reprinted work of the entire 19th century with more than 40 editions. The attribution of the novel to Alfred de Musset has long been disputed.
The novel tells of two nights in the life of Countess Gamiani, marked by her escapades with Fanny and Alcide. During these two nights, the three characters repeatedly recount their sexual initiation as well as their greatest exploits in this domain.

A book not for casual readers. Reserved for enlightened amateurs.
