Description from the seller

Description of the work:

Caught in the frozen stillness of a silent fjord, three ships remain fixed, like suspended outside of time.
The rusty metal, the lights still warm behind the windows, and the white vastness that surrounds them tell a story that no one has really left... but that no one quite inhabits anymore.

This image speaks of waiting.
Of inner exile.
Of those moments when life seems paused, even as a glimmer still persists.

The contrast between the landscape's absolute cold and the fragile warmth of human lights creates an intimate, almost spiritual tension.
We are not simply looking at ships trapped in ice…
We recognize a part of ourselves that still seeks a direction, a passage, a return.

Errance is a work of silence, memory, and discreet hope.
A photograph that imposes nothing, but that accompanies for a long time.

Artist’s note:

I have always been drawn to places where time seems to stop.
Those places where one feels both solitude, beauty, and a form of peace difficult to explain.

With Errance, I did not want to show abandoned boats,
but this fragile moment when one no longer knows very well whether one is leaving… or coming back.

If this image resonates with you,
then it has found its harbor.
