The work represents a serene pond covered with water lilies and pink flowers that emerge delicately above the surface of the water. The scene is framed by dense green vegetation that falls softly toward the pond, filtering the light and creating bright reflections and bluish hues in the water. The loose and luminous brushwork emphasizes the fresh and tranquil atmosphere of dawn, conveying a sense of calm, renewal, and intimate contemplation of nature.

I am a visual artist with a primary focus on painting. My work centers on the exploration of color as language and as a means to build landscapes that are born in the mind but seek to materialize in physical reality. Each work is an attempt to translate sensations, memories, and inner atmospheres into palpable images, creating a bridge between the intangible and the visible. Color is the axis of my research: I use it not only as an aesthetic element but as a tool to open emotional and perceptual spaces

Visual artist trained at the Escuela Profesional de Artes Plásticas de Camagüey (1992) and with a degree in Sociocultural Studies from the University of Las Tunas (2008), has developed a sustained exhibition trajectory in Cuba and internationally. Among his most relevant solo exhibitions are Where Light Sleeps (2024) at the Servando Cabrera Gallery, Three Cardinal Points (2023) at the Carmelo González Gallery, and Urban Nativity Scenes (Pesebres Urbanos) (2020) at the Cuban National Library, among others. His work has been part of group exhibitions at the Center for the Development of Visual Arts, at the Center for Plastic Arts and Design of Havana; in the curatorial section of the Zona Maco Mexico fair, among others, consolidating a coherent discourse around landscape, space, and symbolic construction. Throughout his career he has received various recognitions, including awards at the National Landscape Salon and at the Fayad Jamís Salon, which support the solidity and continuity of his artistic production.
