AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

This work represents a visual and conceptual short circuit, where the historical iconography of Karl Marx is reinterpreted through the aesthetic codes of Pop Art and mass consumption.

The creative process relied on a mixed digital technique, articulated in several stages:

Synthetic Generation (AI): The heart of the composition was developed using state-of-the-art generative artificial intelligence models. Through refined prompt engineering, a fusion was sought between the realism of the philosopher’s features and the graphic style of 1960s comics, obtaining the characteristic Ben-Day halftone visible in the beard.

Post-Production and Graphic Composition: The generated image was subsequently processed in a professional vector and photo-editing environment. In this phase, distinctive graphic elements were added, such as shopping cart icons, dollar symbols, and the typical comic book onomatopoeia.

Typographic and Chromatic Editing: The color contrast between the cool tones of the blue beard and the warm colors of the face was manually enhanced to emphasize the irony of the scene. The brand logo on the can and the speech balloons with the imperative “CONSUME!” were graphically refined to integrate perfectly with the grainy texture of the background.

The result is a work that employs the precision of algorithmic calculation together with human intent and aesthetic sensibility, transforming a symbol of anti-capitalism into its exact opposite: an advertising testimonial.
