Orrefors glass art bowl designed by Edward Hald, model HA 304, in smoke-tinted grey glass dating from the 1930s, with base engraving “Of H.A. 304” and dimensions about 7 cm high and 7.6 cm in diameter, in excellent condition.

Signed art glass bowl designed by Edward Hald for Orrefors, model HA 304.
This piece dates to the 1930s and is executed in elegant smoke-tinted glass. The form is compact yet sculptural, with beautifully controlled proportions and refined surface finishing typical of Orrefors production from the interwar period.
The base is engraved:
“Of H.A. 304”
This corresponds to Orrefors, Hald, model number 304.
Edward Hald was one of the leading designers at Orrefors during the early 20th century and played a central role in establishing the international reputation of Swedish art glass. Works from this period are increasingly appreciated by collectors of Scandinavian modern design.
Condition:
Excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The engraving is clear and well preserved. Light age-related surface wear consistent with period.
