Description from the seller

Ancient Electrified Oil Lamp – Glazed Earthenware, Painted – Brass – France – 1900/1910

Old French-origin oil lamp from the early 20th century, subsequently converted to electric lamp while preserving its original aesthetic.

The base is made of richly decorated glazed earthenware with hand-painted polychrome floral motifs in yellows, greens, and oranges, typical of French decorative production in the Belle Époque.

The mount is finely worked, with a circular base featuring molded contours ensuring excellent stability.

The lamp is equipped with its original glass chimney.
The old electrification includes a inline switch and an old French plug, visible in the photos.

A decorative object of character, ideal for a classic, vintage, or eclectic interior.
