l'Atlas (1978) - Into the dark

A leading figure in French street art, L'Atlas has, since the early 2000s, developed a body of work that is immediately recognizable at the crossroads of calligraphy, geometric abstraction, and conceptual art. Inspired by his travels and by the graffiti tradition, he has built a visual language based on labyrinths, symmetry, and signature, which he applies as much in urban space as on canvas.
