Authentic hand-painted Hindelooper tray – Dutch folk art – monogram SB – ca. 1950-1970

Description
Beautiful hand-painted wooden tray in traditional Hindelooper style, made in the Netherlands, mid-20th century (ca. 1950–1970).
The tray has a characteristic oval shape with a gracefully wavy edge and open handles. The top side is finished in deep Hindelooper red and richly decorated with a central flower motif and a finely painted little bird, surrounded by floral ornamentation and a subtle gold-colored border decoration.
The exterior is dark green painted. The underside bears a gold-colored monogram “SB,” presumably the initials of the painter or maker.
This is handcrafted work (not a print), visible in the brushstrokes and color gradients in the flowers and the bird motif.

Condition
In good vintage condition with normal signs of wear appropriate to age and use.
Some light wear spots along the edge (see photos). No restorations or overpainting visible.
