Description from the seller

Christofle – Collection Gallia – Silver Plated Coffee or Tea Pot – France – ca. mid 20th century

Elegant silver-plated coffee or tea pot by Christofle, from the renowned Collection Gallia, France.

This refined piece features a classic baluster-shaped body resting on a circular foot with ribbed decoration. The domed lid is topped with a finely detailed finial, echoing the decorative motif at the collar. The handle is made of dark wood (insulating and heat resistant), attached with a decorative rosette mount. The spout is gracefully curved and well balanced in proportion.

The underside is clearly stamped:
CHRISTOFLE FRANCE
Gallia hallmark

Gallia was Christofle’s high-quality silver-plated production line, introduced in the late 19th century and widely appreciated throughout the 20th century for its durability and elegant design.

Dimensions
Height: approx. 21 cm
Length (spout to handle): approx. 21 cm
Diameter (body): approx. 13 cm
Weight: approx. 900 grams

The pot has been restored (previous dent removed) and you can still see a little. The silver plating remains in good condition with normal light surface wear consistent with age and use. The piece presents very well and is structurally sound.

A timeless and elegant addition to any refined table setting or Christofle collection.
