Sculpture, LO " SPINARO" - 19.5 cm - Patinated bronze

Sculpture made in Italy in the early part of the 20th century. It depicts "lo Spinario", a famous Hellenistic sculpture that shows a young man trying to remove a thorn from his foot.
The subject is a young man seated on a rock, in the act of crossing his leg.
This is a classic reproduction, made in bronze with a dark patina.
The original model is preserved at the Capitoline Museums in Rome, while a marble version is at the Uffizi.
Condition: good, normal signs of age and wear, small stains, see photos.
Height is about 19.5 cm.
