Javel, an artist born in Abruzzo, Italy in 1986, of Eastern European origins, is regarded as an important exponent of art of the new millennium; in some of his works you can find the stylistic elements of programmatic art but with strong street and pop accents. He is considered a visionary who has managed to venture into unexplored territories, creating works that are not easily codified. Javel has abandoned an initial free and gestural figuration to devote himself to a experimentation that has painting itself as both medium and object of representation. Moving between different stylistic phases, he has developed an unmistakable way of painting that plays with the very material. In his trajectory he has reworked colors used by artists of the past, mastering them in precise composite portions, diligently exploring the reading of daily life and the fleeting dimensions of life to fix them in time.
