Description from the seller

Art Deco Ice Bucket / Demi-Bouteille Champagne Cooler with Ice Tongs – Silver Plated – c. 1930

Elegant Art Deco ice bucket or demi-bottle champagne cooler, executed in silver plate and accompanied by its original matching ice tongs.

The design is characteristic of the 1930s, with clean geometric lines, a slightly flared upper rim and a ribbed lower body section. The side ring handles enhance the modernist aesthetic typical of the Art Deco period.

The interior retains its removable perforated insert, allowing melted ice water to drain away from the cubes – a refined and practical detail.

The accompanying ice tongs feature stylised claw-shaped ends, perfectly matching the streamlined design of the bucket.
