Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Extincteur Champ Clicquot Blk is an aluminium sculpture from France, 30 cm high, 8.5 cm wide and 8.5 cm deep, hand-signed, edition 16/30, dated 2026, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
Champagne Veuve Clicquot black extinguisher by XTC.
Fully painted with Montana spray paints and varnish.
Only painted, no stickers for a uniform result and better durability over time.
Numbered out of 30 and signed on the bottom, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
The shipped example is not necessarily the one in the photo but it will be similar.
Careful and tracked shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual pursuit became a passion that was to materialize.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement through the subversion of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity is expressed through the bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermès, Veuve Clicquot champagne, or even caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral materials.
He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, advertising, and addictions in general.
All potential defects or imperfections are an integral part of the artwork: it is an empty (gas-free) recovered extinguisher that may have surface defects visible through the paint. (Of course it is forbidden to sell a full extinguisher whose standard labels or safety pin are missing)
