Description from the seller
Grand Jerrican 10L Nutella by XTC.
Only painted, no stickers for a homogeneous result and better durability over time.
Numbered out of 30 and signed underneath, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
(The copy shown in the photo is not necessarily the one that will be sent)
Careful and trackable shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has become a passion that needed to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, positioning himself in the Pop Art movement through the appropriation of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity expresses itself through the bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne, or Caviar) and Street Art, blurring even more the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral materials.
He draws inspiration from, among others, Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, advertising, and addictions in general.
All possible defects or imperfections are an integral part of the work, including any dings on parts not visible like the bottom of the jerrican.
