All automatic watches on first use must be wound from the crown as wrist movement alone is not sufficient to maintain the required power reserve

RULE FOR ALL DATE-OF-WORM WATCHES
To avoid potential damage to the watch mechanism, please do not set the date via the crown when the time is between 21:00 and 03:00. It is advisable to set the date via the crown when the time is between 03:05 and 20:55. (Some models have a screw-down crown; to adjust, gently unscrew the crown counterclockwise. Do not forget to securely screw the crown back after setting the desired settings.)
