Lola Otel, original 2026 acrylic painting Will it rain?, an animal-themed work in blue, grey, yellow and black, 70 by 50 cm, Italy, sold with a light maple frame, hand-signed and dated on the back, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
Oil on canvas in acrylic, tattoo ink and liquid gesso. Frame in light maple wood. Signed and dated on the back. Sold in perfect condition and ready to hang, the artwork is shipped quickly and securely packaged.
Lola Otel is a tireless explorer of the art world. The “nom de plume” is chosen to separate private life from the artistic life and to stay detached from the contemporary paradox of the art world, that conformity that clogs creative impulse in the name of market logic and social approvals. There are no hidden messages behind Lola’s works; there is simply the search to create something uplifting that we would like to see every day hanging on the walls of a home, like a beautiful bouquet of flowers that never withers. The spasmodic search for collective approval imposes the use of content and disclosures that often flatten production; in Lola’s case there is nothing to explore. There is only to enjoy.
