Description from the seller
Pascual Roch Minué (Valencia, 1899 – Mallorca, 1977)
« Valencia Dome »
Interesting landscape composition signed by the Valencian painter Pascual Roch Minué, in which the artist represents an urban view dominated by the monumental silhouette of a dome, integrated into a landscape of an atmospheric and contemplative nature. The scene unfolds through a synthetic interpretation of the surroundings, where architecture and nature merge under a soft light that reinforces the sense of depth and serenity.
The work evidences the painterly language characteristic of the artist, linked to the Mediterranean landscape painting of the 20th century and to the Post-Impressionist tradition, with a loose and vibrant brushstroke that prioritizes atmosphere over descriptive detail. The color palette, delicate and nuanced, builds an evocative scene in which soft tones and luminous transitions prevail, imparting a lyrical and evocative character.
Roch Minué, trained at the Academy of Fine Arts of San Carlos in Valencia and later connected to the Mallorcan artistic milieu, developed a painting focused on the direct observation of the landscape, combining modern sensibility with the Mediterranean pictorial tradition.
Work titled « Valencia Dome », signed by the artist.
Condition of conservation in keeping with its age.
