Wooden panel in which Ganesha is depicted, who is the guardian of the home and the one who wards off bad luck, accompanied by his two wives or attendants. The god appears in a combination of a seated and upright form, forming a diamond with his bent legs and that is repeated in the wives' eyes and in their arms, "in a jar". It is folk-inspired and seems to reflect the geometric ambitions of contemporary art; the side motifs are four-petaled flowers and notches, like small moons. It is a very attractive board/panel that undoubtedly belonged to an old haveli or palatial house.
