Description from the seller
- NO PROBLEM -
ORIGINAL Painting, character portraiture by ARVY
The painting is 100% hand-painted using highly pigmented artist-grade acrylic paints and finished with a UV-protective satin varnish. It is created on unprimed, firm, robust, and kink-resistant gallery-quality canvas (360 g/m²) without a stretcher frame.
Dimensions: 120x105 cm (entire canvas)
Artwork Overview:
A crowned figure emerges behind a mask of exaggerated coherence, declaring stability while the interior betrays silent turbulence. The phrase “NO PROBLEM” operates not as reassurance, but as a defensive incantation — the ego’s final attempt to impose order over forces it cannot fully contain. The crown signifies not authority, but compensation: a symbolic inflation erected to conceal the instability of the inner kingdom.
One eye burns with chaotic multiplicity, the other with frozen vigilance, revealing the tension between lived experience and the Persona constructed to survive it. This is the threshold Jung described as the moment before individuation — when the self senses its fragmentation but has not yet relinquished the illusion of control. The viewer is confronted with the unsettling recognition that strength, here, is not the absence of fracture, but the will to remain assembled despite it.
Positioned within a contemporary lineage informed by neo-expressionism and symbolic figuration, the work resonates with collectors who value narrative depth alongside strong visual presence.
This painting offers a distinctive opportunity to acquire a materially rich and intellectually grounded work that continues to unfold through sustained viewing and thoughtful ownership.

Artist Bio:
ARVY is a fourth-generation artist continuing a family legacy of visual and performance art. He studied painting at an art college, graduating in 2016, and has been active in the art world ever since.
Raised in a creative household, ARVY began his artistic path in childhood while assisting his father — painter, illusionist and performer Arvydas Gaičiūnas ( Retne ), co-founder of Magic Theater DiArchy. This early exposure to both visual art and stage performance shaped his distinctive, theatrical sensibility.
ARVY’s work is eclectic and emotionally charged, blending elements of contemporary expressionism, symbolism, street energy, and poetic abstraction. His pieces explore contrasts — chaos and harmony, intuition and control — reflecting the pulse of modern life through vivid color and raw gesture.
He has exhibited internationally and his works are held in private collections across Europe. Beyond painting, ARVY is also known for his creative versatility as a musician and digital creator, bringing the same intensity and imagination to sound, movement, and image.
Thank you for considering ARVY’s work. This portrait is sure to be a standout addition to any collection of modern or contemporary art!
