This work is an explosive reinterpretation of the world's most famous painting, colliding head-on the untouchable elegance of the Renaissance with the brazen, rebellious attitude of street culture.

An Icon Rebel: At the center of the composition, the famous Mona Lisa (La Gioconda) abandons her classical mystical aura to adopt a decidedly cheeky look. Her enigmatic smile is now framed by a pair of conspicuous blue sunglasses and a lit cigar clenched between her lips, from which rises a plume of white smoke.

Street Contamination: Leonardo da Vinci's masterpiece undergoes a true "author vandalism". The entire canvas, including the protagonist's dark dress and the famous sfumato landscape in the background, is heavily invaded by a chaotic overlay of graffiti and urban tags.

Chromatic Explosion: The original painting's classic and calm tones are assaulted and brightened by dynamic drips and splashes of spray paint (splatter).
