Description from the seller

Visible part: 21 x 15 cm
Panel: approx 21.5 x 15.5 cm
Frame: approx 23.5 x 17.5 x 1.5 cm

PLEASE NOTE: UNFORTUNATELY THE WORK CANNOT BE SHIPPED TO AMERICA!

Painted with a brisk touch, a kitten against a background of celebrating people. Original work by the Dutch-Danish artist Borgen Lindhardt.

Has graduated from the Maastricht Academy of Visual Arts (1996). Uses Borgen Lindhardt as a signature name and is known for her “kimono series”, inspired by the work of G.H. Breitner. Creates oil paintings in which old masters, combined with personal elements (cat, painting supplies and fantasy figures), form a new spectacle. Her style is characterized by a visible thick brushstroke. And ranges from detailed, imaginative and playful works to lively, sketchy paintings.

Comes directly from the artist.

Is framed in a cherry-red/brown lacquered frame, with some signs of use.
Well packed and shipped with tracking.

The painting is protected by a layer of retouch varnish. Please, after drying time (about a year), apply a final varnish yourself to preserve gloss and color.
