Painted with a lush brushstrokes, a mini-version of Breitner's classic kimono girl in red, by the Dutch-Danish artist Borgen Lindhardt.

Graduated from the Academy of Visual Arts Maastricht (1996). Uses Borgen Lindhardt as a signature name and is known for her “kimono series,” inspired by the work of G.H. Breitner. Creates oil paintings in which old masters, combined with personal elements (cat, painting supplies and fantasy figures), form a new spectacle. Her style is characterized by a clearly visible thick brushstroke. And ranges from detailed, imaginative and playful works to fluent sketch-like paintings.
