Description from the seller
Biography:
Elisabeth Mione developed a passion for painting since adolescence; every week she would go to the Louvre to contemplate the works of the great masters.
She graduated from the Elisa Lemonnier School of Graphic Arts in Paris.
She mainly uses oil on canvas, sometimes enriched with gold leaf.
Artistic approach:
Her figurative work focuses on portraits of women, celebrating their beauty across different eras. Her work evokes the eternal woman.
Solo exhibition at Hyatt Regency - Palais de la Méditerranée - Nice, France
Solo exhibition at Perspective - Nice, France
Exhibition at DZ Galerie - Nice, France
Work:
The canvas captures a subtle contrast: two similar souls, two complementary presences. One asserts, the other radiates. Together, they tell the duality of a single identity, between strength and gentleness, reality and poetic blossoming.
