As you can see, the signature is missing the last two letters, as is the dedication (to a friend ...).
The result of a poor restoration and probably covered by overpaint.

Frame included size 52 x 43 cm
On the back, a cartouche with the artist's name and birth and death dates.
The painting needs cleaning and a probable restoration on the front.
The frame is in good condition with the artist's plaque.
