This work revisits a cult moment of science fiction cinema by depicting E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial in his famous scene where E.T. disguises himself as a woman. The artist chose a particularly unusual medium: a 60 x 80 cm anti-slip sheet of metal, whose checkerboard metallic relief provides an industrial texture and unique depth to the composition.

The contrast is striking between the delicate silhouette of the extraterrestrial and the rigour of steel. Wearing his black hat with rounded brims and draped in his improvised costume in ochre and brown tones, the character seems to emerge from the material. The technique used perfectly accommodates the metal’s irregularities, playing with the reflections and the shadows cast by the surface to give life to the creature’s melancholic and endearing gaze. This union of street art aesthetics and pop culture transforms a universal childhood memory into a raw, singular contemporary art object.
