Scuola napoletana (XIX) - Paesaggio

A painting of excellent quality executed in oil on canvas, 60 x 78 cm, by an unknown author of the Neapolitan school. Due to the great quality of the painting and its subject matter, it can be hypothesized that it was created in the 19th century by a follower of Ercole Gigante. The painting is still on its original canvas and in excellent condition with a light craquelure, which, due to the passage of time, does not affect the viewing of the work. The frame is, of course, not coeval and measures 81 x 99 cm. The work is certified by a forensic expert specialized in Italian painting of the second half of the 19th century.
