I am a contemporary figurative artist trained at a private classical art academy in Florence, Italy, where I developed a strong foundation in traditional painting techniques and academic drawing.
My work has been exhibited in a local museum, and my paintings are held in private collections worldwide. Recently, eight of my works were featured in important Portuguese magazine Scala Regia.
I work primarily in oil, focusing on portraits and still lifes. My preferred approach is alla prima, allowing for immediacy, material presence, and a direct engagement with the subject, though I also produce larger and more time-intensive works when the concept requires it. My practice is rooted in classical painting traditions while remaining firmly within a contemporary figurative context.
