Artistic collaboration between David Law and Ginger Red
David Law, musician, author and photographer, has been developing series for over 20 years on his favorite themes: mannequin poses in shop windows, Japanese angels and Korean dolls in the cities he travels through. He turns to graphic design to create Crypto-Rocs, a gallery of emblematic portraits made from photos of the represented artists. He participates in several contemporary art fair circuits, exhibiting there and producing photo and video reports. He has teamed up with Ginger Red for a series devoted to pin-ups, for which he draws on his graphic-design experience using Photoshop.
Ginger Red resides in Paris. After studying modelling and sewing, the artist created numerous collages and studied drawing and painting for several years. Passionate about the retro and timeless charm of 1950s and 1960s pin-ups, supported by AI for visual research, which she reworks, blends and carefully illustrates using graphic-design tools (Photoshop, XP-Pen Artist 24 Pro drawing tablet), she creates a style close to the work of the great illustrators.
These two artists have joined forces to invite you to dive into the timeless world of 1960s pin-ups, or other charming and original visuals.
