Art collaboration between David Law and Ginger Red
David Law, musician, author and photographer, has been developing series for more than 20 years on his favorite themes: posing mannequins in shop windows, Japanese angels and Korean dolls in the cities he travels through. He turns to graphic design to create crypto-rocs, a gallery of emblematic portraits made from photos of the represented artists. He participates in several circuits of contemporary art fairs, where he exhibits and produces photo and video reports. He has partnered with Ginger Red for a series devoted to pin-ups, for which he leverages his graphic design experience using Photoshop.
Ginger Red resides in Paris. After studying modeling and sewing, the artist has created numerous collages and studied drawing and painting for several years. Passionate about the retro and timeless charm of 1950s and 1960s pin-ups, supported by AI for visual research, which she refines, blends and illustrates carefully using graphic design tools (Photoshop, XPpenartist 24 Pro graphics tablet), she creates a style close to the works of the great illustrators.
The two artists have joined forces to invite you to dive into the timeless world of 1960s pin-ups, or other charming and original visuals.
