The 1977-founded company PAMP Suisse (Produits Artistiques Métaux Précieux) with its headquarters in the Swiss canton of Ticino is an internationally recognized and leading producer of precious metal bars. The motif side features the well-known design of the “Lady Fortuna.” The Roman goddess of fortune and fate is exquisitely showcased on the gold bar together with all her attributes. Fortuna’s attributes symbolize fortune and destiny. On the bar you can see a sheaf of wheat, a poppy blossom, a cornucopia, valuable coins, and a fortune wheel. Upon closer inspection, Fortuna appears with bound eyes. The blindfold signifies that Fortuna distributes good and bad fates at random.
Reverse side
The value side of the gold bar shows the manufacturer’s name “PAMP SUISSE,” the fineness “20 g FINE GOLD,” and the fineness “999.9.” In addition, there is the serial number consisting of a letter and six digits and PAMP’s rectangular emblem. At the bottom edge of the gold bar is the LBMA maker’s mark “ESSAYEUR FONDEUR,” which attests to high quality.
