Born into a family of musicians, he himself a cellist at the Théâtre des Arts, faithful to the teaching of the Masters of the Regional School of Fine Arts, Léonard BORDES, by combining his two passions, understood and translated regional poetry, that of the Norman countryside and its metropolis from which arose simple and sincere paintings, melancholic or anecdotal, but always built in masses laid down quickly, and rhythmized by these gnarled trees, the uncertain sky, and whose poignant suggestion sometimes joined vibrant still lifes.
